PROFILE
Carol A. Krawczyk, Landscape Architect, Inc., has more than
24 years’ experience as a landscape architect in the public and
private sector.
Krawczyk specializes in research-based design. To help create
projects which respond to both the clients’ needs and contextual
design, she uses current research databases to locate the most
up-to-date articles, books and references in areas of design.
Using this type of information as the foundation, she then
builds thoughtful, informed designs.
Public Service Krawczyk has served on the Kennett Square
Borough Planning Commission since 1999 and is Co-Chair of the
Delaware Section of the PA/DE Chapter of the American Society of
Landscape Architects. She also chairs committees within her
community as well, helping to provide guidance and technical
expertise.
Since 1996, Krawczyk has taught courses in landscape design,
construction methods, detailing, planting design and therapeutic
garden design at the University of Delaware, Temple University,
Longwood Gardens Continuing Education, and the Coastal Georgia
Center for Continuing Education. She has also lectured/presented
research at national and regional conferences for the American
Society of Landscape Architects, Council of Educators in
Landscape Architecture, as well as for extension services,
garden clubs, professional organizations and neighborhoods. She
is available to present lectures on these topics for your
organization.
